About the Author
James Eatock is an English freelance animator, designer, writer and publisher. He is commonly known on the internet as Busta Toons.
In 1997, James alongside Zadoc Angell created the He-Man and She-Ra Episode Review Website. The website was primarily Zadoc's idea and James had little interest in contributing to it during its initial developmental stages. However, it went on to become one of biggest websites dedicated to the He-Man and She-Ra animated series, attracting many visitors including much of the original creative staff, and earning the pair reputations as He-Man and She-Ra experts. The author lives in London, England, UK.

A Must for Any He-Fan

If you are a He-Man/She-Ra fan you've probably already ordered this book. If you haven't - DO IT. There's no more exhaustive tome that covers everything and brother I mean pretty much everything from these two series. Still reading it, but flipping through it I don't see anything related to Adventures of He-Man, the latter series right before they stopped making episodes for a decade or so. Amazing behind-the scenes artwork, stories about things that wound up on the cutting room floor, and hey...just what DID Orko look like without that hat? Fair warning, do some weight training before it arrives...this sucker is massive!

Great collection of information from every episode in S1 and S2 of He-Man series and She-Ra series.

This book is huge, being close to 1.75" thick, containing 590 pages. It is 12.25" H x 9" W in size. It's a heavy book. The binding seems to be strong and hold, but only time will tell if the binding will not be strong enough for continued viewings. This book has summaries and additional information from each episode from Season 1 and 2 from He-Man, and from Season 1 and 2 from She-Ra. See my pictures. There is a short 4-page section at the end of the book, that gives short summaries of episodes that had been approved, but were never made/produced. There are many sketches in pencil and in color, of characters and environments. The end also has a nice 1-page description of Lou Scheimer. The pictures I uploaded show the variety of types of pages included in this book.

Absolutely a "Must Own"!

Dark Horse has been knocking it out of the park with the series of He-Man and She-Ra companion books.
James Eatock is well known in fandom as an expert on 80's animation and pop culture. He is the publisher of a fantastic fanzine called Cereal Geek and is an authority on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I was thrilled when I found out he was authoring this book. He has contributed to the other Dark Horse MOTU books.
This volume is a complete and total recap of every single episode of the two classic animated series. It has character breakdowns, episode over view, reused animation, trivia and more. Stills from the show, production art, script pages and even examples of the cell animation.
If you ARE a fan of the Masters of the Universe and Princess of Power, it's an absolute must. If you WERE a fan and remember the shows from when you were a kid, it's a fantastic glimpse in to your childhood. I promise you'll want to go out and buy the DVDs so you can watch them again.
