A View of the Power of Sharing

To me, this book in one sense is about the wonderful gift of surfing. On another level, it is about sharing what gives one joy. The surfers in the stories were given this gift by someone else for various reasons and passed it along. Whether by directly teaching someone or by passing on their story to inspire someone else.
The surfers in this book come from all walks of life. But in the end, no matter where they surf or what level; they all share a common love of being in the ocean.

What a great insight into the surfing community! The stories go beyond the sport itself- they make you feel how surfing effects lifestyle, spirituality, mental clarity, attitude, and overall outlook on life. Each story is different- there are stories of men, women, moms, and dads of varying surf experience from all over the world.
